Summer Day Camps

Please be patient as we finalize the details for summer camp 2025.

More information will be updated in January and February 2025 - including prices, themes and offsite trips

Junction summer day camps provide a week full of fun and adventure! Participants will have an experience they will never forget as our friendly staff lead them through a mix of climbing, games, and skill teaching that will benefit kids mentally, physically and socially. Junction’s focus on positive support and personal challenge will have them reach new heights in this exhilarating sport.

Summer Day Camps at Junction offer:

  • Indoor rock climbing and bouldering

  • Climbing games and challenges

  • Teamwork and individual activities

  • Weather-dependent outdoor activities, including time at nearby Boyle Community Centre Park

  • Kid-friendly movie (full day camps primarily - half day may drop in to watch)

  • Visit to CTC Obstacles on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons (full day camps only)

    • Note: August 25-29 week - CTC is unavailable so we will be going to Carling Heights pool instead!

  • Pizza lunch will be served on Fridays (both camps)

Age Groups and Camp Times:

  • From July 7th to August 29, 2025 - Junction camps running Monday to Friday:

    • Half Day Camps - 9am to 12pm (for kids born 2017-2019)

    • Full Day Camps - 9am to 4pm (for kids born 2013-2016)

    • Full Day Teens Camp - 9am to 4pm (for teens born 2010-2012)

  • Drop-off times are between 8:30am and 9:00am for all groups. Pick-up times are between 12:00pm and 12:30pm for half day camps and between 4:00pm and 4:30pm for full day camps. Early drop-off (8:00am - 8:30am) and late pickup (12:30pm - 1:00pm // 4:30pm - 5:00pm) is available for $10/half hour/day and will be paid for upon registration.

  • Single day registration is not available.

  • July 7 to 11 - Pirates - Full Day Camp

  • July 14 to 18 - Safari - Half Day Camp

  • July 21 to 25 - Mad Science - Full Day Camp

  • July 28 to August 1 - Full Day Teens Camp

  • August 5 to 8 - no camp Monday August 4 - Superheros - Full Day Camp & Half Day Camp

  • August 11 to 15 - STEM - Full Day Camp

  • August 18 to 22 - Fantasy - Half Day Camp

  • August 25- to 29 - Spy Kid - Full Day Camp

  • Full Day Camps - $355 for 2025 (tax included) - EARLY BIRD PRICE: $319.50

  • Half Day Camps - $245 for 2025 (tax included) - EARLY BIRD PRICE: $220.50

  • 4-day weeks: Half day - $199 for 2025; Full day -$295 for 2025 (tax included) - EARLY BIRD PRICE: $179.10 (half) / $265.50 (full)

  • Early bird pricing in effect until March 31, 2025

Funding may be available for low-income families to cover the cost of our camps. Please view our Funding Resources page for more information.

Camp Policies - Please Read Before You Book:

  • Behaviour Policy

  • Payment and Cancellation 2025:

    • Cancellations of any booking must be submitted in writing to alana@junctionclimbing.com before 12pm on the Monday before the first day of camp (ie: one full week before) to receive a full refund.

    • Cancellations inside of that time will receive a Junction gift card for the amount paid, less 50% non-refundable deposit, if your cancellation doesn’t cause the participant numbers to go below 8 kids.

    • If minimum participant numbers have not been reached one full week prior to the start of the camp week, you will be notified (via the email that you provided at the time of booking) that the camp will be canceled, and the amount paid will be refunded in full via the method of payment used on registration. Camp is running unless you are notified by alana@junctionclimbing.com on the Monday before your camp week is slated to start.

    • Summer 2025 cut-off dates for refunds/minimum participant numbers

      • July 7 to 11 - June 30

      • July 14 to 18 - July 7

      • July 21 to 25 - July 14

      • July 28 to August 1 - July 21

      • August 5 to 8 - July 28

      • August 11 to 15 - August 4

      • August 18 to 22 - August 11

      • August 25- to 29 - August 18

    • In the event of a mandated closure of the business due to a public health order (or similar circumstance) refunds will be issued for the prorated amount for the days missed, less the deposit (50% of total cost).

    • Exceptions to the above are wholly and entirely at the Junction's discretion. Junction's desk staff do not have the ability or authority to process refunds for camps. All inquiries for these should go to alana@junctionclimbing.com

    • If your child is signed up for the incorrect camp (i.e.: wrong age group), you will receive an email from our Program Manager that we are cancelling your booking. You will then receive a cancellation email from our booking system and any money paid will be refunded.
